Vulnerability capacity assessment

naslov1In frames of the project "Capacity Building of the Centre for Crisis Management"   a pilot project was implemented called "Enhancement of the capacities of the local authorities and communities through the regional centers for crisis management",  which is financially supported by the Government of Japan, programme for development of the United Nations – Bureau for protection and recovery from crisis. Macedonian Red Cross who is the implementing partner of the pilot project organized a workshop for

"Vulnerability Capacity Assessment",

which was organized for representatives of the Direction for protection and rescue, Centre for crisis management, local self-governments and Red Cross volunteers from the micro-regions of Kichevo, Veles and Strumica, covered with this pilot project..

The workshop was organized in Struga in the period of 15-17.12.2009 in the Centre Solferino – City Red Cross of Skopje.

The objective of the workshop was provision of training for vulnerability capacity assessment in the communities by utilization of the methodology of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The seminar was rounding up of activities which were planned within the pilot project. The implemented activities showed opportunities for further successful cooperation of all stakeholders which participate in the system for protection and rescue in the state
